  2.                            VGAMoire 1.6i Registration
  3.                            --------------------------

  5.                 If you are already a registered user and want to order
  6.         the latest major release, please fill out the ORDER.TXT form and
  7.         send it with your payment.  Otherwise please read this file:
  8.  
  9.                 VGAMoire is not Public Domain, nor is it FreeWare.  It
  10.         is a ShareWare product.  This means that you can evaluate it for
  11.         a reasonable amount of time: 21 days.  After this period, you
  12.         must decide whether you want to continue using VGAMoire.  If you
  13.         do not want to use it anymore, then you should remove it from
  14.         your system (or pass it on to a friend or a bulletin board
  15.         system).  However, if you decide that VGAMoire is useful to you
  16.         and you intend to continue using it, you must register your
  17.         copy.  To register VGAMoire, read the instructions below (site
  18.         licenses are available at a special price, see below).  With
  19.         your registration, you will receive a number of special
  20.         benefits.

  22.                 Whether you are a registered user, or just evaluating
  23.         VGAMoire, you are strongly encouraged to give suggestions, make
  24.         complaints, and bestow compliments.  Please be sure to report
  25.         any problems or possible bugs to me, so that I can fix them.

  28.                        Registration for Individual Users
  29.                        ---------------------------------

  31.                 To register VGAMoire for use on a single machine, print
  32.         this document and fill out the form at the end.  You have a
  33.         choice of registering the copy you have, or of ordering the
  34.         latest version of VGAMoire.  To simply register the version you
  35.         have, send the completed form and a check or money order for $15
  36.         to the address given below.  If in fact you do not have the
  37.         latest version, you will be notified and will be given the
  38.         option to order an upgrade for $5.

  40.                 If you would like to order the latest version right
  41.         away, send $20 (instead of $15) and the completed form to the
  42.         address given below.  If it happens that you already have the
  43.         latest version, you will be notified and will be sent the next
  44.         release when it becomes available.  Otherwise, you will be sent
  45.         a copy of the latest version.

  48.         information on why you should register and what your
  49.         registration will get you.

  52.                                  Site Licenses
  53.                                  -------------

  55.                 A "site license" allows you to use VGAMoire on as many
  56.         machines as you want or need to--provided that VGAMoire is used
  57.         only within your "site" (an office department, a university, a
  58.         corporation, etc).  It is much more cost-effective for both
  59.         parties involved if an institution buys a site license.  For
  60.         example, if an office department with 50+ microcomputers decides
  61.         it would like to use VGAMoire on all its machines, it would be
  62.         much more convenient and less expensive to buy a site license
  63.         for their department.  This way, VGAMoire can be used not only
  64.         on the existing machines, but also on any machines that are
  65.         later added to the department, all for one price.

  67.                 A site license need NOT be obtained if an individual
  68.         user wishes to use his or her own personal copy of VGAMoire on a
  69.         machine at the site in question.  In such a case, the user need
  70.         only obtain an individual registration.

  72.                 To obtain a site license, print this document and fill
  73.         out the form on the last page.  Be sure to fill out the section
  74.         entitled "Site Licensing".  Send the completed form and a check
  75.         or money order for the appropriate amount (as determined by
  76.         filling out the Site Licensing section of the registration
  77.         form).

  79.                 Once a site is registered, it may obtain new versions of
  80.         VGAMoire for $50.  The site license is extended to apply to the
  81.         new version, once it is purchased for $50.  (This fee is subject
  82.         to change--see note below).

  84.         ** NOTE **  Version 1.6i is the last version of VGAMoire that
  85.                     will be released.  The name is being changed to
  86.                     "Dark Ages."  Be assured that anyone who registers
  87.                     themselves for VGAMoire will automatically be
  88.                     registered for Dark Ages and will be eligible for
  89.                     upgrade discounts on Dark Ages.

  92.         Registration," for information on why you should register and
  93.         what your registration will get you.

  96.                        Special Benefits from Registration

  99.                 Before you send the registration form, please take a
  100.         moment and use the reverse side of it to list any suggestions,
  101.         complaints, compliments, observations, or other comments you
  102.         have regarding VGAMoire.

  104.                 Once your registration form is received with the
  105.         registration fee, you will be sent a printed "newsletter"
  106.         providing important information on obtaining technical support.
  107.         The newsletter offers a discussion of the program's
  108.         capabilities, as well as a more detailed discussion on a number
  109.         of technical aspects and "programming notes".  In addition, the
  110.         newsletter gives examples of how to optimally configure VGAMoire
  111.         for your system.  Any additional late-breaking news is also
  112.         included.

  114.                 After you have registered VGAMoire, you will be notified
  115.         of all future releases, and will be eligible to receive them for
  116.         a $10 fee (this fee subject to change--see note below).
